Anti social behaviour in Helston |
||
|
Following the recent public meeting in Helston about anti-social behaviour, your local neighbourhood policing team has continued to maintain a strong and visible presence in the area. Officers have been conducting regular patrols on foot, in marked police vehicles, and in unmarked vehicles when appropriate. These patrols are aimed at providing reassurance, engaging with residents, and preventing anti-social behaviour.
Our team has also been working closely with local schools. Over the past month, officers have delivered educational presentations on anti-social behaviour (ASB), knife crime, and the risks associated with alcohol and drug misuse. This early engagement is an important part of our commitment to keeping young people safe and informed.
As part of ongoing problem-solving work, officers issued three Community Resolutions to local youths for ASB-related incidents and theft. These resolutions allow us to deal with issues proportionately while ensuring that those involved take responsibility for their actions.
We will continue to monitor the area closely and will review the situation again in 28 days to ensure that local concerns remain addressed.
If you have any concerns or wish to speak with the team, please get in touch via 101 or through the neighbourhood policing website.
